We are committed to developing effective consultation and participation with service users and to promoting tenant empowerment.

We have a proactive Tenant Participation Strategy and promote this as a continuous process through sharing information and ideas, encouraging customers to take part. We organise forums inclusive of a successful Annual Conference providing Tenants with the opportunity to contribute to formulating policies.

At the Conference, various Tenant Focus Groups have addressed a variety of topics including Planned Maintenance, and the Design Brief for new developments.

We provide an interesting quarterly “insight” newsletter, which can be viewed under the News heading on this web site.

Registered Tenant Organisations

We have established certain criteria for the formal registration of Registered Tenant Organisations (RTO’s) under the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001.

An information leaflet and application form is available from our office for groups of tenants interested in formal registration.
